CNN is 
reporting that “Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the buck stops with her when it comes to who is to blame for security ahead of a deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya … “I take responsibility” for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview … soon after arriving in Lima, Peru, for a visit … The attack killed Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, and three other Americans at the consulate.”
It would seem that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is more presidential than President Barack Obama. When will Obama take responsibility for anything? When will he take responsibility for the weak economy? For the millions on food stamps? For the millions who have given up hope and stopped looking for work because the economy is so weak? When will Obama take responsibility for the fact that his weak and bungling foreign policy contributed to the Middle East descending into flames? When will Obama take some of the responsibility for the divisive tone he has worked hard to foster? When will he take responsibility for the four straight years of trillion dollar deficits? When will Obama take responsibility for the fact that he hasn’t passed a budget in three years? The answer is he will never accept responsibility because he isn’t a grown-up.
In contrast to Clinton taking responsibility, Obama has blamed others and lied to the American public about what happened and why. Obama was blaming a non-existent protest several weeks after he knew that there was no protest — no protest at all — outside the Benghazi consulate. He blamed an obscure movie for the deaths, even weeks later when he was speaking at the UN. This was a completely false narrative, but that didn’t stop him from pushing it with gusto.
To this day, the White House has refused to accept any responsibility for what happened. The White House hasn’t even taken responsibility for the lies that it told for weeks. And to make matters worse the motive for the lies was to continue to feed the campaign narrative that the president has all but defeated al Qaeda. It turns out that isn’t true. That the President has lied about national security issues and tried to deceive the American public to promote his re-election shows a shocking lack of leadership and character.
One of the most shocking scenes was while standing within a few feet of the caskets of the four slain diplomats at Andrews Joint Base, Obama dishonored their memory and their sacrifice as he lied about the attack and its cause. This is the same man that to this day argues that Mitt Romney, is trying to politicize the issue! As Bill Clinton said at the DNC in early September, “It takes a lot of brass to accuse a guy of doing what you did.”
